The Department of Mathematics and Academic Learning Services provides a variety of FREE tutoring services which you should utilize before paying for private tutoring. The Mathematics Learning Center is located in Swain East 340, is open 9 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday, and provides tutoring for M14, M18, M19, M25, M26, M27, D116, D117, J111, J112, J113, T101, and T103. Departmental-sponsored help sessions for Finite Mathematics (M118) and Calculus (M119, M211, M212) meet Monday through Thursday with hours and locations available at http://mypage.iu.edu/~mathlc/helpsessions.htm. This list is provided for the convenience of those seeking tutors from the list of mathematics department graduate students. All of the tutors listed on this site are currently full-time math graduate students, or, in exceptional cases, full-time graduate students in related areas who have taught for the mathematics department and have excellent teaching records.

RESTRICTIONS: For reasons of conflict of interest, AIs are not allowed to tutor in courses they are currently teaching or for which they are currently grading or assisting. In accordance with Math. Dept. policy, AIs may not be employed simultaneously by an outside business or department, without consent of the Director of Graduate Studies. Failure to conform to these requirements will be grounds for removal from the private tutor list and possibly the AI position.
